Im very disappointed to say the least. I play the piano and I have a hard time writing down the music as I play because I lose my train of thought. I was hoping that I could find an app that would be able to listen to what Im playing and write it down on the master staff. But this app only had the treble clef. And I could not play more then one note at a time because it wasnt able to pick it up and that just makes music boring. Really hope it gets better. Really do.

I have no idea what the negative reviews are all about. Please allow me a moment to illustrate what you have just stumbled upon here. This app lets me hum a tune into my telephone and have it generate music that I can then play back as piano or guitar less than 10 seconds later. Yes, it does that ... and it costs less than a Big Mac. Im creating tunes right now, on my lunch break, in a parked car with the air condition pumping out Arctic level coolness. It still works flawlessly. Have we become so spoiled in society that we cannot bring ourselves to see the value in an app that allows this for the minuscule price of $.99? I consider myself a creative individual but by no means am I a musician. My creative expertise lies in illustration and character design. This app allows me to hum music and generates an additional element that I am able to add to my presentations that I would have otherwise not been able to create. And in case you missed it, its doing this all for 99 cents. Cheers.

This lets you hum or play on an instrument a melody line and the app will create sheet music. You only get a single clef. All you can do is quickly capture an idea for a melody. For what it is, it is convenient.

I was very disappointed with this app! It can only comprehend very simple one handed songs with no chords! But sometimes It cannot understand even the simplest of songs! It cannot comprehend more complicated two handed songs with chords! I would not recommend this app!

App constantly crashes.

This app is amazing, works perfectly, of course if multiple instruments are playing then it will capture all of them and be unable to identify which is which. Apart from that it catches all my notes perfectly without a problem and exactly on spot. Perfect for anyone who doesnt know exactly how to write music down on paper. I do feel that the 99 cents for the app then extra for a membership is a bit incorrect and unfair but Im okay with it. Great App and I hope it doesnt die off because of the lack of people purchasing it. This app deserves a spot on the front apply featured section. It could really bring in a lot of musicians and students like me a lot. Hope to see this app grow! Good luck!

It couldnt pick up a simple melody I played, I tried everywhere from Bach, to just song of storms from legend of Zelda and it couldnt handle the notes. Not worth it.

Can only record notes individually. Definitely not "the worlds most intelligent notation tool," and if so, I am thoroughly disappointed.

Purchased this and it doesnt work, played piano and the it says analyzing, after sometimes gives up with message "no network "

I wish I could get my money back. Completely wrong key, time signature, rhythm...everything about anything I fed the app was wrong. Waste of time and money. 0 out of 10, would not recommend.

Ive been using this app for several months and u have to say for what it does its pretty good! People are haten on it prob because its not perfect. If you download the companion for your pc u can fix all the wrong notes etc. When I did I got it perfect the way it needed to sound! My only suggestion is if the developer could make it so that I can mess around w it in GarageBand. So I can actually make a song w the notes from the program!

Great concept, but would not save any melody I recorded

Wow, this app is incredibly inaccurate. Doesnt work at all. Im wondering if it even recorded the song I tried to play!

I cannot play any instrument at all so writing music for me was challenging but now if I have a melody I could just hum it and send it off to one of my friends to play it!

Common. Theres a lot of apps out there that give you a lot of features for free trial then you decide if its worth your money. 10¢ a song is just ridiculous!

App will not do anything without signing In with email or FB. Why cant apps simply do what they advertise. A waste.

Tried twice, just says unable to analyze then crashes. Wish it was worth the time and effort to get a refund.

WHY? Fail. Massive fail to require me to sign in before the app even works. Would have given zero stars!

This app has much potential. I wanted it to help find pitch and simple notation of a melody line. Even with adjustment to detail setting, it is usually not accurate in intervals, even when playing an instrument with established pitch like a piano. Positive: it gets me closer than plucking out notes just by ear, but the accuracy is poor in my opinion.

Total waste of money, do not buy. Requires you to sign in with Facebook or your email. I tried with multiple email accounts none of them would work. Total scam and waste of money, stay away!
