If it cant capture a c scale on my piano. What can it do?

Dont waste ur time on this one. Thrmey have a LOT of work to do before this is any good. Needs pitch perfect, does not keep up with tempo, inaccurate noting, etc. keep tryin guys!!

I LOVED this app! It was so awesome! But one day, I had to delete it for space for just a little bit. The next time I downloaded it, it wouldnt open. Why?! I LOVED this app! It was so amazing! PLEASE FIX THIS I AM SO MAD!!!!! NEED TO MAKE MY MUSIC!!!!!

If I could give this app zero stars, I would. Its impossible to record any songs unless you play one note at a time. Even then, it gets multiple notes wrong. This was a great idea for an app but Im extremely disappointed in it.

Its not intuitive, but its fun.

I have an iPod touch running iOS 6.1.5 and an iPad running iOS 6.1.3. When I first got this app, it ran fine and seemed fairly useful, but after the latest update it doesnt work at all on either device, even though the description still says it should work with iOS 6 and above. (When I try to start it, I see the logo briefly, it disappears and Im returned to the home screen.) Its a quick download and free, though, so if youre interested it might be worth giving it a try, particularly if youve got a newer device and operating system.

My experience was the same as the previous reviewer. Apparently, this app needs updating to be compatible with recent iOS updates. Too bad as it sounded very promising. Back to the App Store now to see if something comparable exists.

I really want this app to work! If you record very slowly, it comes close. For some songs, it works as a foundation; but I dont want to pay to upgrade unless it works well. I hope the designers work harder; I need this to work!

It sort of works, but is of beat a lot and writes the wrong notes. Its fine for recording something short and simple but other wise, I dont think its worth downloading. But it is a really cool idea!

Its a nice idea but does not work. You have to use only monotone sound and even then its not accurate. Also the App is EXTREMELY buggy and quotes a lot, I use the latest iOS on the iPhone 6+. Poor programming needs major improvement. What a shame it could be a nice tool for musicians.

I have to assume other reviewers had the wrong expectations when they downloaded this app. No, it will not magically transform an existing song into sheet music, but it will save you a LOT of time when writing sheet music yourself. It can only take one note at a time (no chords or harmonies) and its best to record in small chunks so the analysis doesnt take too long, but it will automatically detect your key and time signature, and if you sing/play the pitches and rhythms accurately it works very well! It had no trouble with triplets or accidentals. It got confused when I tried singing particularly complicated Sondheim melodies, but if it gets something wrong its possible to edit. I highly recommend getting this app! It wont do the work for you, but its very helpful!

It wont even open completely on my ipod. It just crashes a few seconds after I tap on it

I bought this app thinking I would create sheet music for the alto saxophone, and I recorded a tune, but it wont even turn it into saxophone music! It only works with a few instruments like guitar and piano. Also, the music only creates a part for one instrument, meaning you cant do ensembles. You might as well just write out music on a staff, instead of paying for this app.

This was basically a waste of money.

Perfect for when you desperately want to light your money on fire but youre out of matches. Its a virtual crashapalooza.

I think the app is pretty neat, and for .99 your not losing much. I tested single note melodies as it suggested and it was completely accurate. I wish you could record for the bass and treble cleft, then merge the sheet music together. That would make this an outstanding app.

Please, please, please fix the constant crashing!! :(

Every. Single. Time. Very disappointing. Maybe let me know when its fixed. Its a dollar so not gonna ask for a refund.

There is an iPad version that I will not buy, because this version has shown me that it probably wont work. There is an unexplained error every time I try to record... Also, the company moved to a more profitable business model, so now I have to but a membership if I want to keep my old songs and record new ones...
